Transitional Programs helps students make the move from high school to college and the workforce via high school equivalency programs (GED®) and career development. These programs give adults without a high school diploma a chance to increase their incomes and abilities to gain employment through a credential. Other programs provide additional assistance for former foster youth, young adults age 18 to 24, and unemployed or underemployed job seekers. Plugged In Virginia provides specific career education and training along with GED preparation or basic skill remediation.
Our Transitional Programs include:
- Adult Basic Education
- Career Coaching and Workforce Readiness
- GED® Testing
- Great Expectations
- Middle College
- WIOA: Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
