Admissions

Any person 18 years or older who can benefit from an SVCC program is eligible to attend the college. High school students may also be enrolled in credit courses with their principal's permission.

All necessary application forms are available on our forms download page. You may apply for admission on the web at http://www.sv.vccs.edu/info/sis/ApplyOn-Line.htm. You should apply for financial aid as well which can be done at http://ntas-k1.sv.vccs.edu/financialaid/howto.htm.

Students who wish to enroll in an associate degree program should have a high school diploma or GED certificate. To enroll in a degree, diploma or certificate program, students should complete an application for admission and an application for Virginia in-state tuition rates. Students should also provide high school or GED and previous college transcripts, and complete SVCC placement testing.
