Students Attend "Hidden Figures"

Thirty-nine students and faculty from both the Christianna and Daniel Campuses attended the movie "Hidden Figures" last month in honor of women in STEM programs and as an early kick off for Black History Month!

"I think the movie was highly uplifting! It sent a message out not just to the colored people but in general saying that you can be whatever you want to be if you make it happen. Despite of what others say to you, about you, or treat you, it's up to us to be able to go the extra mile and block out negativity to become successful!," commented Morris Clark.

"This movie will inspire everyone who sees it!  These three incredible characters exemplify  the importance of believing in yourself,  even when it seems the rest of the world doesn't," said Sarah Horne.
