SVCC Tennis Team Falls to Randolph-Macon 5-1

The Southside Tennis team had a lot to be proud of on Sunday against Randolph Macon College. In the Doubles action the #1 Seeds Lee Lewis and Conard Russell teamed up and played well but Macon's top seeds were just to much to handle in the end. The other Doubles match put #2 seeds Kayla Diaz and Tad Lewis against a tough Randolph Macon tandem. Diaz and Lewis had leads at 3-0,4-2,5-3, and 6-4. Randolph Macon came storming back winning the last four games to take the match.
 
In the singles their were some flashes of hope for the Panther Tennis team. #1 Singles Seed Conard Russell got the only point and win of the day for Southside. Kayla Diaz, Tad Lewis, and Lee Lewis all played tough but Randolph Macon was to much in the end.
