Cook wins nursing award

The 2008 Dr. Earle W. Moore Academic Merit Award has been presented to the outstanding Practical Nursing student in Southside Virginia Community College’s program housed at the Estes Community Center in Chase City.

This award was established to commemorate the instrumental role Dr. Moore played in the establishment of the Estes Community Center.
