Announcement Benefits Greensville County H.S. Grads

EAGLE groupStudents in Greensville County High School Class of 2015 will continue to soar after graduation as they benefit from the EAGLE Scholarship to attend SVCC .  The benefits include no out of pocket tuition expenses beginning in the fall semester of 2015 and to last for two consecutive semesters at SVCC.  

Funded by Greensville County and the city of Emporia, EAGLE stands for Emporia And Greensville Leads Everyone to Success.

Participants in the announcement were (l to r), Dr. Tara Carter, SVCC VP of Academics and Student Services, Mary Person, Mayor of the city of Emporia, Gary Cifers, Coordinator of Off­‐Campus Instruction, Bessie Reed Moore, Chair of the Greensville Co. School Board, Brenda Parson, Greensville County Deputy Administrator and Dr. Angela Wilson, Superintendent of Greensville County Public Schools.
