Alumni Spotlight: Tracy Branch

SVCC Alumni Spotlight

Ms. BranchTracy Branch from Fort Mitchell, VA is a Central High School graduate.  While attending Southside Virginia Community College, she was very active in campus life.  She was the student representative on Campus Council, president of Minority Awareness Programming, a library work-study and was one of the first students to act as Johnny Paws, SVCC’s mascot.

“My advice for future SVCC students is ….get all the education you can, but also have fun at the same time. Get involved on campus because you will never know who will be able to help you. I am so happy I got the chance to meet a lot of people on campus. Without their encouragement, I do not know where I would be today”.

Once she earned her Associate of Arts and Sciences in General Studies/Administration of Justice, Tracy transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
