Stacy Stegall grew up in Green Bay, VA and graduated from A Beka Home School Academy. After receiving her diploma, she attended Southside Virginia Community College, where she became a member of Phi Theta Kappa, was named in Who's Who Among Students, was on both the All-State and All-USA Academic Teams, and earned an Associate of Arts lii, and Sciences in General Studies.
Following her graduation from SVCC, Stacy transferred to Lynchburg College, completing her Bachelor of Arts. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sweet Briar College. Currently, Stacy is at Virginia Commonwealth University working on her Ph.D. in Chemistry with concentrations in Analytical Chemistry and Chemical Education. She has an article published in Royal Society of Chemistry and another in Journal of Chromatography A.
Well on her way in the journey to becoming a Chemistry professor, Stacy says, "Starting my college experience at SVCC was one of the best decisions I ever made. The professors are great, and there is no limit to what you can do when you finish!"
