Meredith Colley grew up in Phenix in Charlotte County and graduated from Randolph Henry High School. After earning her Associate of Arts and Sciences in General Studies from Southside Virginia Community College, she transferred to the University of Virginia, completing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She worked for several years in the mental health field before returning to school and earning a degree in Radiology.
Meredith is currently employed by Centra Health as an R.T. (Registered Technologist), with certifications in Radiography and Mammography.
Reflecting on her time at SVCC, Meredith is appreciative of the opportunity of having a work-study job. It not only helped her with college finances, but also taught her responsibility and the importance of managing her work and school schedule. She is also thankful for the individualized attention she received as a student, such as after class tutoring from her teachers.
