From Blackstone, Kevin Dalton graduated from Nottoway County High School. In his sophomore year of high school, he attended the program, "A Day in the Life of a Lineman", sponsored by Southside Electric Cooperative, setting him on his career path at an early age. After he completed high school, he attended and is a graduate of the Southside Virginia Community College inaugural class of eleven Power Line Worker Program students.Kevin is employed by C.W. Wright Construction Company, working in the Powhatan/Cumberland area on a contract project for Southside Electric Cooperative. C.W. Wright Construction Company serves the electrical utility industry with operations in states east of the Mississippi.
