SVCC Alumni Spotlight

Mr. MoodyOriginally from San Angelo, TX, Kaid Moody’s family moved to Virginia when he was 10 years old, eventually settling in White Plains.  He graduated from Brunswick Senior High School and served in the United States Army as a wheeled vehicle mechanic

After completing his Army service, Kaid enrolled in Southside Virginia Community College and earned an Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration diploma, as well as certifications and/or training in residential and commercial heat load, commercial driving, TracPipe, hazardous materials and OSHA.

Kaid’s SVCC diploma and training led him to a job at Parker Oil  in South Hill, VA, where he is employed as a service technician. He plans on obtaining a Virginia Mechanical license in the near future and eventually qualifying for a Master Mechanical license.
