SVCC Awards More Than $8 Million in Financial Aid

Opportunities abound at Southside Virginia Community College.  In these trying economic times, SVCC offers many classes and services to accommodate those who require a college degree, skills training or a new career.

SVCC is an inexpensive choice as it is a state-supported Virginia school offering low tuition and fee rates compared to other colleges.  Students can attend a full two semesters at SVCC, taking 15 credit hours per semester at a cost of about $2,856.  Even state supported four-year school can cost as much as $15,000 for the same classes (including room and board).
