Nurse Aide Training
The healthcare industry is actively seeking professional Nurse Aides. This seven week course is designed for individuals desiring to work as a CNA. Upon successful completion of the program students receive the certificate needed to take the Virginia NNAAP (National Nurse Aide Assessment Program) Exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
Occupational objectives for this program include working as a CNA in health-related agencies including nursing homes and hospitals as well as home health positions acquired through placement agencies or private arrangements. There are many job opportunities in Southside Virginia for CNAs! Completion of the requirements to become a Certified Nursing Assistant can be the first step on the educational ladder of the field of nursing.
