DRUG DOSAGE CALCULATION EXAM DATES:
The Drug Dosage Schedule for July 2010 through November 2010 is as follows:
- First Wednesday of each month South Boston – Call 434-572-5456 to register
- Second Wednesday of each month Alberta – Call 434-949-1067 to register
- Third Wednesday of each month Keysville – Call Hannah Guarino in Student Services at 434-736-2022 to register or if you have any questions.

All testing sites will begin testing at 2 p.m, and the exam time is 50 minutes.
You must be able to solve the types of problems shown in this example in order to pass the drug dosage calculations exam. You must score an 80 or higher on the exam to be considered for the program.
Drug dosage calculations exam example The questions on the exam will be exactly like these questions, only the numbers will be different. CALCULATORS ARE NOW ALLOWED, BUT WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR. YOU MAY NOT BRING YOUR OWN CALCULATOR.
Gloria Pickar's Dosage Calculations book is an excellent book to utilize to study for this exam.

When you are scheduled for the exam, you must be there 30 minutes prior to the exam to sign in and present your receipt of payment for the exam and a picture identification. In order to apply to our nursing program, you must obtain a score of 45 or higher on the AD Composite score.
ITE 115 Challenge Exam Dates and Information:
The ITE 115 Challenge Exam will be given on the dates below.
- The challenge exam for ITE 115 is usually administered college-wide by appointment.
- The only cost associated with taking the test is the purchase of the SAM 2003 Assessment code from the SVCC bookstore which provides access for taking the exam. The cost is currently $45.30 (as of 3/11/09).
- The exam consists of 100 questions and tasks related to computer basics, Windows, Internet, e-mail, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office 2007). It is an online test. The total test time is usually 2½ to 3 hours.
- The required score to pass the exam is 80%. Students who pass receive 3 credits by examination. No grade is recorded on the student’s academic transcript.
- To register for the test, please contact any main campus (Alberta or Keysville) or South Boston and ask to speak to an ITE instructor.
