This course will explore a range of web-based resources and exemplary projects which utilize technology to support instruction. Participants will complete the course with a collection of resources and plans for a classroom project that utilizes technology to serve curricular goals.

The World Wide Web contains a vast number of resources to assist teachers both in understanding the differences in their students' learning styles and in differentiating their instruction accordingly. Participants will become familiar with teaching strategies and tools which will help them meet these goals and will collaborative in the development of a set of instructional experiences that can be adapted for multiple disciplines.

Google, the world's famous search engine, is used more than any other search engine on the Web. This course will explore the many highways to organizing your information and making it more accessible and user-friendly for its users. This course will allow participants to utilize Google's resources to find lesson plans, locate places, or whatever they are searching for. Through instruction and guided practice, students will use a presentation or multimedia program to develop a unit or lesson and create an activity in which students use Google as a learning tool for everyone. This course is NOT just restricted to certified teachers.
