Handbooks and Policies

All classifications of employees at SVCC, Teaching Faculty, Adjunct Faculty, Administrative and Professional Faculty, and Classified employees are employed according to the terms set forth in the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) Policy Base. 

Employment of Instructional Faculty, Adjunct FAculty and Administrative and Professional FAculy are further governed by the VCCS/SVCC Faculty Handbook.

Additionally, Classified and Wage employees are employed according to the terms set forth in the VCCS Policies and Commonwealth of Virginia policy base under DHRM, the Department of Human Resource Management.
